What I was trying to explain was the if we use infinity as a metaphor to do anything, we remove all forms of constraints and frees us up to come up with whatever we need. The fact that today we have very large numbers of users on the web, very large collections of code, that all of these together represent a sense of infinite possibilities that arises because of all of these being connected through bits.

hth.

HI Mahesh,

A very good article. As you said, the tremendous and consistent performance of Apple's supply chain is indeed a great boost to their brand image.

Interestingly, I was checking

http://www.interbrand.com/best_global_brands.aspx?year=2008&langid=1000

The best brands in the past 6-7 years, and Microsoft has consistently been 2nd or 3rd, pipped only by Coca Cola and IBM in the few years it was 3. Microsoft, as a brand, is one of the most respected brands in the world. Its very surprising considering that the user interface of Windows is not as good looking as Apple.

Just wanted to share with you,
Keep writing man,

excellent blog! impressed about the 10 reasons for a brand not to click. write more about your geeky experiences with apple :) but not sure how the title relates to the theme though.

If I look at it in the desperate-attempt-to-be-optimistic-view, I would be happy about the fact that at least such situations arise, to show that humanity still exists in its real form, and is still exhibited when it is needed. There is still a lot of hope left :)

I think even though one can be global, and pick the best of different sights and cultures, all will never end up being the same, as the fundamental coating on your identity would be your roots and things that you associate yourself with, which would mean that the world will not be boring. And it's not that my culture is not making sense, but a hybrid of different things together makes an interesting pie right? I mean to quote you @anu "American salary, Chinese food, European home, Indian wife" is classic ain't it? :)
