With just 1 day to go, the adrenaline levels within the group is amazing. We can just see it all clicking together at the right moment making each one of us very confident that this event is going to be fantastic! We have some wrinkles to be ironed out which should be done hopefully by tomorrow.

Some stuff that we (nuStart) folks kept contemplating / thinking about:

1. How do we call the participants? Hubbubers, Bubbers, Blabbers???

2. What happens if Wi-Fi goes down? Oh, we have a solution for that but hopefully we do not need to cross those waters for the 4 hours at Nymble.

3. We had a recent upsurge of registrations. When the week started, we had about 60 odd ( I think) and right now we are close to 120. I think I need to primarily thank Fredrick from Bison Blog (click here for his post on hubbub) for blogging about us. All the others who have spread the word in their own ways (blogs, “word-of-mouth”, “sleep talking”), we owe you one! Hopefully we put up a great show that would make it all worth it!

4. Living up to the expectation created by hej!2007. The folks who put together hej! have been right at us, making sure every step that we take is well thought about, every speaker and topic is well researched and no stone is left unturned. Thanks guys! I know you folks miss Sweden. So hopefully you feel as if you are in this dreamland through our live channels at hubbublive

5. Dealing with the general buzz around the event – the Jaiku’s, random discussions that lead to hubbub somehow & our own little marketing techniques through the internet.

In short, we loved every minute putting together this event. Whatever be the outcome, I think all my friends would agree if I say it was fantastic to meet people, talk to them about technology, doing the website, setting up the backchannels, commenting to blogs & articles and what not. I think this time and again proves that Sweden as a country and Swedes as folks are more open to new things than so many other places. Kudos guys! Looking forward for one helluva of an event this Saturday.
